How do you express yourself?
Some may dress up in drag, others may develop a unique sense of style. For some, it’s dressing up as a fluffy animal! Nothing more, nothing less - just a means of expressing parts of one’s personality that may have been suppressed by social pressures, adopting a new personality and character to identify with. A form of escapism from a stressful world!That is my goal with making these costumes - giving people the opportunity to express themselves truly without fear of judgement, just happy faces n waggy tails!

Meet the artist

Heya!

I'm Mano! I’m a 19 year old fashion student based in the UK. I find joy in costume making and art as it allows me to express a more extroverted side of myself. As a neurodivergent individual, I find it hard to fully convey my thoughts and feelings, however, with costume making I hope to improve my social skills and better mine and other’s lives through sharing my work. I also have a mobility disability, which I refuse to let define me, finding joy in dancing / performing, using my passions to entertain. I enjoy making others happy - working with local communities such as disability groups and children in need, supporting them wherever I can and volunteering in collaboration with local organisations / charities.In case you haven’t met him already, meet Sparky the Manofur (above)! He’s basically the mascot of Manofur Creations at this point, so it’s probably wise to introduce him properly. He represents my creative journey in the fandom and I hope the content I create with him adds a little bit of colour to your day!
